The Forest Department of Dadra & Nagar Haveli recognizes the importance of promoting afforestation and conservation of natural resources. As part of this effort, the department has established several forest nurseries to cultivate and distribute a variety of plant species. In this program, we aim to distribute plants to tribal people, industries, and the general public, to encourage plantation and contribute towards a greener environment. The department on an average distribute 5 lacs seedlings per year.
