Distribution of Seedlings

Introduction

The Forest Department of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu recognizes the importance of promoting afforestation and conserving natural resources. As part of this effort, the department has established several forest nurseries to cultivate and distribute a variety of plant species. Through this program, we aim to provide plants to tribal communities, industries and the general public, encouraging plantation efforts and contributing to a greener environment. On average, the department distributes 5 lakh seedlings per year.
